How to play Confessd
Confessd is a real-time detective game. You step into the interrogation room, ask the questions and decide who is lying.
Interrogate
Pick a ready-made question, type your own or dictate it. The suspect answers on the spot, in your language.
Catch the contradiction
Every fact goes into your notebook. Use what one suspect said to pressure another. Careful: the lawyer may step in.
Accuse with one piece of evidence
Name the culprit and the evidence that proves it. The fewer questions you use, the higher you rank.
Call in forensics
When a piece is missing, the lab can help: forensic analyses cost coins and bring reports that go straight into your notebook.
Frequently asked questions
What is Confessd?
An interrogation game. Each case has a scene, a victim and three suspects. You ask questions, cross-check the statements and name the culprit with one piece of evidence.
Is it free?
Yes. A free account unlocks one case at a time, with a wait between cases. Coins unlock the next case right away.
How much does it cost?
Playing costs nothing. The Senior Detective subscription unlocks unlimited cases. Coins, sold in the app, pay for forensic analyses and for unlocking the next case. Prices are shown in your local currency.
How does the evidence work?
When you accuse, you name the culprit and pick a single fact from your notebook as evidence. If the evidence backs the accusation, the case is closed. Each case has a question limit.
Can I ask anything?
Yes. Pick a ready-made question or write your own. Suspects answer on the spot, get nervous, lose their temper and sometimes let slip what they should not.
Which languages can I play in?
13: Portuguese, English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, Italian and Indonesian. The game uses your device language.
Where can I download it?
Confessd is in closed beta on Google Play and the App Store and is coming to the stores soon. Meanwhile, play for free in your browser at confessd.com/play. Your account is the same on phone and computer.
