The 30-minute wait: the post-case room
What the post-case room is
On a free Confessd account, after you solve a case, the next one unlocks in 30 minutes. That time isn't dead time: the clock card turns into the Post-case room, with four minigames about the case you just won.
The clock stays pinned at the top the whole time, even inside each minigame. The usual buttons are still there: Unlock the next case, for 20 coins, and the Senior Detective offer.
Subscribers also see the room after a win, with the Next case button instead of the countdown. The room only appears after a win: after a loss you try the same case again, with no minigames.
Each card shows the minigame's name, your progress (for example, 3 of 5) and the points it has earned so far. When the clock hits zero, the card turns into the next case's. What you've already done stays saved on your account.

Face-off: +2 per confrontation
In Face-off you put two suspects head to head: one accuses, the other fires back. The list shows each confrontation with both portraits and the question. Tap a row and watch the scene: the detective's question, the first suspect's answer and the second one's comeback, each line in a speech balloon.
When the comeback changes a suspect's mood, a short clip of the room reacting plays. At the end, the points animation shows the +2 and your position on the leaderboard. Every confrontation is unlocked, even those from clues you didn't reveal during the game, and each one only counts once.
Evidence board: +1 per clue
The Evidence board is a corkboard with the three suspects' portraits at the top and cards for the clues you revealed during the game at the bottom. Drag each card to the suspect the clue points to.
Right link: the card disappears into the portrait, the number in its corner goes up and you earn +1. Wrong link: the card goes back to the pile, with no penalty, and you try again. If you sit still for a few seconds, a little hand shows the first pair. When you link the last card, the Board complete stamp appears along with the animation showing the board's points.
Watch out for clues that mention someone else: a testimony filed under one suspect can point to another. The board is a little deduction game.
In the cell and Detective panel
In the cell you talk to the prisoner. The case is closed, so they can talk about what they did and why. Type or use the microphone. A free account gets 5 messages per case; Senior Detective gets 10. When they run out, Visit over appears. The cell gives no points: the conversation is the reward.
The Detective panel shows your stats: your rank badge with how many cases are left until the next star, total points, position this week, solved cases, confessions, success rate, average questions per arrest, forensic tests used and best winning streak. It doesn't give points either.

Frequently asked questions
Do the post-case room minigames give leaderboard points?
Two of them do. Every confrontation completed in Face-off is worth +2 and every clue correctly linked on the Evidence board is worth +1, once per case. In the cell and the Detective panel give no points.
If the clock hits zero, do I lose the room?
The card turns into the next case's and the previous case's minigames leave the screen. The points you already earned stay on your account.
Do Senior Detective subscribers see the post-case room?
Yes, right after the win, with the Next case button instead of the clock. In the cell, subscribers get 10 messages instead of 5.
