Treasury room of a castle in Dresden, Monday, 4:56 am. Two hooded men climbed in through a barred window in the west wing, smashed a display case with an axe and left with 21 jewels from the 18th century.

The coin cabinet of an old museum, with a shattered armored case and an empty pedestal.

Numismatic Museum of Berlin, on Museum Island, Friday, 10:00 am. In the early hours of Monday, between 3:20 and 3:45 am, the Hundred-Kilo Sun vanished from the armored display case in the coin cabinet.

A narrow basement corridor with an open steel gate, a stalled elevator and the client ledger.

A safe deposit building in London's jewellery quarter, Tuesday after Easter, 8 am. The manager went down to the basement to open up and found three round holes in the vault wall.

Regional treasury of Banco da União, downtown Fortaleza, a Monday in August, 8 am. The guard opened the vault gate with the treasurer and found the shelves empty.

The Japeri stationmaster's office, with a stopped clock, a telegraph and overturned wagons outside.

Japeri station, auxiliary line of the Central, Friday, June 1960. On Tuesday, at 8:30 a.m., an explosion tore up the rail on the curve at km 71. The locomotive and the pay car left the track and toppled down the embankment.
