Silk and Mist

Cases unlock in order, like levels. This is case 107 of 200.
Cameron Highlands, Malaysia, Easter Monday, 1967, 8 am. Mist still clings to the tea plantations around an English bungalow of stone and timber.
Walter Hale, the American owner of the biggest silk mill in Bangkok, left the bungalow yesterday afternoon for a walk. He never came back for dinner, and the dogs searched all night without finding a thing.
On the veranda he left a wicker chair, a cold cup and a folded newspaper. Those who knew Walter say he never got lost: he had walked the jungle since the war.
Three people were close to him this weekend. One of them knows where he went.
The bungalow's living room, with a cold fireplace, silk curtains and windows fogged by mist.
