The bar of a luxury hotel in central London. On November 1, at 4 pm, Pavel Orlov drank green tea at the corner table and fell ill the same night.
Orlov was a former agent turned fierce critic of his own country's government. He died in the hospital three weeks later, and the doctors only understood the poison at the very end.
The bar was closed, and a bathroom and a room on the 4th floor are sealed. Three people went through that table on the day of the tea.
One of them knew exactly what was in the pot.
A hotel bar with dark panels and green armchairs, a round teapot mark on the tablecloth.
