Rome, July 1973. Marco Lindqvist, 16, grandson of an oil tycoon, vanished after a night out at the Piazza Navona. No one has seen him for five days.
This morning a ransom letter reached the family, with a lock of his hair inside the envelope. Last night, a voice with a southern accent called the grandfather's private phone.
The grandfather refuses to pay. He says it's his grandson's stunt to squeeze money out of the family.
Three people were close to Marco in recent weeks. One of them knows where he is.
An interrogation room in a Roman police station, blinds half closed and a ceiling fan turning.
