Launch Control Center, Houston, 10:24 am. At T-31 seconds, the Meridian 4 flight computer aborted the launch. The engines never even ignited.
The crew left the capsule unharmed, but the launch window was lost. The log shows why: a tampered parameter file was loaded into the system at 9:52 am.
At 9:52 am the control room was empty: the team was on the scheduled break from 9:45 to 10:05 am, at the weather briefing next door.
Three people had access and a reason to be nearby. One of them tampered with the rocket.
Glass-walled meeting room above the control room. Down below, every screen still flashes ABORT in red.
