Gold on the Ice

Cases unlock in order, like levels. This is case 27 of 100.
Ice fishing camp on Lake Laberge, Yukon, Canada, 7:40 am. Amos Kerrigan, a prospector, vanished last night. Early this morning he was found under the ice, caught beside a hole near the ski plane.
He died in the freezing water between 9:20 pm and 9:50 pm. It looked like an accident: a dark night, thirty below zero. But the lake ice is sixty centimeters thick, and the hole was not there yesterday morning.
Amos was flying to Dawson today to register a gold claim. Besides him, three people spent the night at the camp, and no one comes or goes from here without that plane.
The camp's cook tent, the wood stove crackling, the wind beating against the canvas.
